All Applications on Public Exhibition

All development applications, modification applications and review applications must be exhibited in accordance with Chapter 1.2 Notification of Development Proposals of Central Coast Councils Development Control Plan 2022. Notification can take a number of forms:

  • Individual letters to local residents.
  • An on-site notice, usually associated with Designated Development. This type of exhibition means that the application is on public exhibition.
  • An ad in the local newspaper and/or Councils website. This type of exhibition means that the application is on public exhibition.

Integrated Development Applications 14 days

Written submissions close: 14th October 2024

The documents accompanying the development application are available on the Central Coast Council website www.centralcoast.nsw.gov.au for a minimum period of 14 days from 27th September 2024 to 14th October 2024. A person may, during the public exhibition period, make written submissions to the consent authority about the application and any submission must specify the grounds of objection, if any.  Submissions can be made online at www.centralcoast.nsw.gov.au or in writing to Council's postal address. Submissions will be made available for viewing on Council's website.

The development is also Integrated development and requires the following approval/s from:

  • NSW Rural Fire Service under the Rural Fires Act 1997

A person may, during the public exhibition period, make written submissions to the consent authority about the application and any submission must specify the grounds of objection, if any.  Submissions can be made online at www.centralcoast.nsw.gov.au or in writing to Council's postal address. Submissions will be made available for viewing on Council's website.

The development is Nominated Integrated development and requires the following approval/s from:

  • Department of Planning and Environment (Water) under the Water Management Act 2000  

The development is also Integrated development and requires the following approval/s from:

  • NSW Rural Fire Service under the Rural Fires Act 1997

 

 
Central Coast Council is required to comply with the requirements of the Government Information (Public Access) Act 2019 which requires submissions on Development Applications to be published on Council’s website. In order to maintain privacy, all submissions lodged using Council’s DA Submission Form or online portal will have personal contact details and signature redacted. Submissions received not using Council’s DA Submission Form or via the online portal will be published in full. Your submission may also be reproduced in full in Council reports or in Court proceedings.
